Open Question: PLEASE HELP ME out, Acting and education does it work?
Okay, I don't know why but ever since I was little I felt very pulled towards movies, acting, major motion pictures, and anything with a script really... I don't know why but I have this feeling in my tummy just thinking about acting. Im in love with it I guess. Don't know if anyone every gets this feeling too. I can sit here all day and just think about how acting is an art and how beautiful it is. The emotion, focus, feeling and the way that someone can connect with an in animate thing. its just plain amazing to me. I want to be an actress but I can't just be like... "well im going to be an actress and act and make money and there you go im life is all set up" because like they all say a job isn't going to be guarantee dd and my mother doesn't want me to be an actress she thinks of it as a waste or our time and her best friend money. she says " Just look at all those actors they always just die out in a couple years" so she wants me to have a degree in some sort of academics... so what im trying to say is can I focus on acting and be going to school at the same time. I know my parents wont let me go to chi arts (chicago's performing arts school) or something even though i think that's amazing. But i just need more education in acting too. there is completely NO acting classes where i live they're all in chicago and i live 45- 1 hour away from chicago. I want to be known for doing something I love. I always think about this going to sleep like. Like random stuff like red carpets what do they look like going down one in real life or what's it like to shoot a horror movie? But my mom doesn't even like it when I think about it she wants me to be educated in academics because she says im going to fail and that once you make 2-3 movies your career is over and you wont have a degree in anything and you'll work at a fast food restaurant. So how can I do BOTH i need school ( i love going to school very much) but acting is my passion and i want to be educated and become a better actress ( im kinda of a rookie i just started trying to follow im dreams a while ago) what do I do, Its all become a big slap in the face to me... I want to start early acting (im a freshman) so i start building up my resume instead of waiting till the end of college im just anxious to wait when im going for something i love in believe in i wont stop. Thank you very much for reading my whole symphany of my screwed upness and dreams that i dont if they'll come true... and thank you answering I can take your point of few of everything, and i also think to be at the top I have to start at the bottom and I even think the bottom is a great spot to be i mean at least its a start! :D thank you again very very much
