So Long, Summer
Officially, summer is with us until the autumnal equinox September 22. But the light is already changing, and so are the temperatures.

Open Question: Gift ideas for martial arts instructors? And/or good quotes?
I need gift ideas to give my karate instructors as symbols of gratitude.
I'm a 27 year old female in karate. I am testing for my black belt this weekend. I was in karate as a kid/teenager, then I quit for about a decade, and came back. I owe a lot to my childhood teacher who instilled the love for the sport in me and helped me get back into it. I owe a lot to the instructor who helped me adjust as I was re-learning. I owe a lot to the owner of the studio who altered the schedule and added a new adult program for me. And I owe the most to the head instructor who wrote the test and designed the new adult program around me, as well as put in countless hours of private lessons for free to make sure I am ready. I told them I needed to finish my black belt before I started grad school, and my test is actually 48 hours before my first MBA class. The point I'm trying to make is that they have accommodated me in every way to help me realize this dream, and I'd like to give them each something to show my gratitude. I'd like to get all 4 the same thing (3 males, 1 female) without spending too much, as I'm returning to the poor college student life. I'm hoping no more than $25-30 for each of the gifts. I'd like to be able to put a special message and quote about martial arts on it. It would be nice to have something that I could get by Saturday, but since that's only 2 days away, it would be fine if I couldn't give them the items until later. I'm also a creative, DIY sort of person, just haven't been able to work on anything but training in the past couple months, but I'll definitely accept DIY ideas too.
