Open Question: Complicated Frienship Advice?
I was going out with a girl that i have a serious history with, we were both in a relationship prior to this one with each other, but we ended it after she was told i was cheating on her when i wasn't. but we stayed friends, best friends and 5 years later, I break up with another girl so we can be together. and it seemed like utter bliss. but we broke up in February after a nearly 2 year relationship, because of cultural differences stopping us in the long term. Anyway that aside we promised to stay best friends, but now im starting to feel like im the only one wanting to keep this friendship. I find myself having to start all the conversations. and if i dont, we wont speak. she has a group of friends that i socialise with but am not particularly close to and when we meet up its when were with them, it almost seems like she's pity inviting me. we used to exchange stories and art work with each other but she seems less interested now and it just seems like we're fading apart, and i dont know what to do, she's the only person, ive every really opened up to and feel like i could. Im also worried that if i tell her what im feeling ill push her away, or that im ignoring a bigger picture, or im just being overly emotion because i have a tendancy to bottle things up. i dont know what to do so would really appreciate some advice.
