Open Question: University Decision Help?
Yes, I asked this question before, but I only got 1 answer, so here goes d:
I put more thought into what I'm going to do with my life than any other 14 year old you'll ever meet. For my whole life, I've wanted to be an elementary school teacher, but their pay SUCKS. I know everyone is going to say "oh, money shouldn't be important," but in reality, we all know that it is. I've considered being a pediatric oncology nurse or nurse practitioner, but I am super squeamish when it comes to medical things, and I was told that you have to dissect a cat to become a nurse. I could never do that because I'm a huge animal lover and vegetarian of 9 years.
I want to travel.
I want a family someday
I love children
I love helping people
I have a 4.0 GPA and Im involved in my states gifted and talented program
I hate geometry
I love mythology
I enjoy the arts
I don't want to be something like a dancer, (even though I love to dance) or a manager because I feel like my intelligence is a God-given gift that I need not waste.
And, (I know this dream keeps getting closer to impossible), I really do want to live in the UK, preferably England. I know it's most likely not going to happen because of shortages of visas, but still...
My dad makes about 70,000 dollars a year, and my mom doesn't work, so that's the salary I'm used to living on with 5 people in the house. I mean, my husband will have a job, too, but I want to give my family and myself an amazing life. It's always been a dream of mine that my children could go to private school because I could never afford it.
So ideas on what to be?
