Open Question: Why do people think bad spelling and grammar are valid arguments for why someone is wrong?
I notice this a lot. Someone will say something someone disagrees with, a question, a statement, an opinion, and rather than actually supplying a counter argument this bit of text is attacked on the grounds that it has poor spelling and or grammar. I realize that not having proper spelling or grammar reduces your credibility or ethos, but since when did misspelling a word eliminate the argument or meaning behind it? Since when could statements containing real debate and logical reasoning simply be dismissed because the originator, while in possession of a keen and intelligent mind (which is obvious through the argument which he/she makes), is lacking in the skills of the literary arts?
Example:
Questioner: Why do people seam to think healthcare is a right? Cleerly since right are natural and health care is a nonnatural thing healthcare isnt a right.
Answer: Healthcare is a right. Not everyone can afford healthcare. You’re clearly not educated based on your spelling and don’t know what you’re talking about.
(Notice how no counter argument is offered… or really even a rational for this person’s belief, and yet they believe their point won and themselves superior simply because their sentences are correctly punctuated and spelled)

Open Question: I am not sure what i want to be when i am older?
i am stuck!? i am at the beginning on year soon i am really confused on what to been when i am older. Everyone has got some idea of what they want to do or be and we work experience soon so i need to now what job i want to get when i am older. I like geography and p.e i am good at ict maths and i am ok at english and art i was thinking maybe journalism but that maybe to much english and i am not outstanding at that, but i like to travel. if you have any ideas what so ever i need to no because i am really desperate! thank you :)
