Open Question: A-level choices HELP?
Ok, here's the situation:
I am 16, and my GCSEs are nearly finished. So I have to start thinking about A-levels. The problem is, I don't know what I want to do when I'm older; I don't know what to take. I just generally don't know anything!
I have had recommendations from people to take two sciences and two arts if I don't know. My parents, in particular, advocated this. They want me to take biology and chemistry in order to keep the medicinal route open. I like biology and chemistry (not physics), but that still leaves me with the last two choices.
I really enjoy history, RE, and English Lit. I may (this is another option, aside from a doctor) look into becoming a teacher of one of those subjects. But again, I don't know.
I guess really my questions could be condensed, thus:
Are the following good A-level choices?
Biology, Chemistry, RE, History
Is it a good idea to take two sciences and two arts? Or will this weaken my position to get into university?
Is it bad that I'm confused about my future?
