Resolved Question: is anyone in your family exceptionally cheap/greedy?
My mother. All I needed was art supplies for my stupid art class. She told me tell her what I needed and she'd get them.
She went to a freaking dollar deals store and got the cheapest compass and art supplies possible. If we were poor Id understand but since my family can afford good supplies I don't understand why she doesn't want to spend an extra ten bucks. She spends all this money on herself. Everything for her is not generic and fairly expensive. She buys her kids food at a dollar store. She gets everything there. Its not fair. I sound like a brat, but im not. Everything she gets for me is so cheap and crappy and everything she gets for herself is nice and long lasting.
