The Museum of New Art (MONA) - Detroit
 | Detroit's contemporary museum was established in 1996. The founding director is Jef Bourgeau, and its chief curator is Jessica Hopkins. Since MONA first opened its doors, the museum has exhibited hundreds of regional, national and international artists. MONA has created exchanges of Detroit artists with those in other US cities and in Europe and Asia.
