Enemy Kitchen: Iraqi cab driver gets lunch, 4/23/2012

Lunch and conversation ensued in front of the truck, featuring our very own Chicago flag, in Iraqi colors. Apologies for the microphone distortion caused by the wind. Chicago is known for it. Open Question: How do contemporary artists challenge the values and assumptions of 'western' art?
I have read a bit about globalisation, but am unsure how to fit this in, as I know I should also discuss the yBa's... The globalisation things I have read talk about artists such as Steve McQueen and his film which followed South African miners - so it is talking about the westernisation of the world and countries which were colonised. It also looked at some aboriginal art. Just not very sure where to begin with the question!!
