Open Question: What part of Dublin, Ireland is considered the artistic/artsy area?
I am a visual artist travelling to Dublin this summer and would like to know where the arts hub of the city is located. Where are the most galleries and/or arts events? Are there places where artists are known to gather or hang out? Do you know of any upcoming art shows I should attend, or opening/closing receptions? Does Dublin have any artists' markets? Are there any websites that would list arts related events?
I will be there June 4 - 18.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
