Open Question: Help with drama/ help with hairspray? ?
Woah, this is going to take a long time to write so bear with and hold on tight for knowing all my drama history so you know what's going on. I'm in year 8 at the mo, and apparently we could be doing hairspray next year (Woop Woop- no sarcasm) now, being the drama freak I am I already knew which roles I would be perfect for (I remembered from the film just in case) and I think amber and penny! Now this years musical was grease and I got patty understudy which is good for a year 8 considering I was under studing a year 11. Woah big achievement. But I'm wondering is only because when every said who they were auditioning for (well I only heard the lower years say there's not sure about years obive) they all said the pink ladies but I said pink ladies and cheer leader. No one else said that. So, maybe that's why I got the role? Anyways, so Yknow maybe they won give me a big role :( but I really want one so bad cuz I trying to get into a performing art school and it would look way better if I had a main role rather than an understudy/chorus. Now, this year again I'm going to make sure I audition for every white person you can be!!! (that's sounds rascit, but its true) but the main roles I want is amber or penny. But yet another problem, miss usually only picks year 11s and sixth formers :/ but a year 9 did once get a main role!! :) I would be so greatful so any main cast role, I would rather be an understudy than a chorus person. I'm in a play at the mo, but it is only for lower years and wit a different drama teacher, but I'm part of the main cast and I'll tell you what the character in playin (room 13- Ellie may) is exactly like amber!!! Omg it's ment to be! And I totally beat this girl trying to get tr role! Lol makes me sound evil ^_^ so yeahhh..... Thank you so much for reading this much and also feel free to add tips for auditions and hairspray and audition songs for both characters, like any ideas? Any drama/theatre advice and hairspray advice and maybe any other charcters? Haha Yknow what's funny it's in a years time (the play) and it might not even be the play (te person who told me it could be hairspray also mentioned another play but I cant remember what she said) serious lol I swear im a drama freak sometimes I just obsess over one idea (hairspray) oh and any advice on the characters!! Well done for getting this far lol ^_^ :) xx
