Zaha Hadid's amazing architecture, the MAXXI National Museum of XXI Century Arts in Rome (5 pictures)-series1

The ambitious new Maxxi, or the National Museum of the XXI Century Arts, is a museum designed by the London-based architect Zaha Hadid. This is the city’s most ambitious contemporary art museum, and offers playful views with its odd-angled ramps, hidden corners and oblique windows. And although still young, its permanent collection features works by a respectable range of contemporary artists, including Francesco Clemente, William Kentridge and Gerhard Richter.

Zaha Hadid has consistently, throughout her career, pushed the boundaries of urban architecture. English, of Iraqi origin, she graduated from the prestigious Architectural Association School of Architecture in London. Her style is characterized by a predilection for the interlacing of taut lines and curves, sharp corners, overlapping planes, which give her creations complexity and lightness. She is the first woman to receive the Pritzker Prize in 2004. The MAXXI (Arts Museum of XXI century) in Rome, was awarded the prestigious Stirling Prize, awarded by the Royal Institute of British Architects

The pictures in the comment box are views of the stairs, corridors, ceilings, lines, angles, curves. A paradise for my photographer's eye!!
